Hello, I’m Shea, a Melbourne-based artist and photographer.

Photography is my passion! Wherever I go, my camera goes too.

I love creating special images that people can treasure forever. I photograph a wide range of subjects – from jewellery and fine art, to events, weddings, theatre and portraits.

I specialise in creating unique, intimate portrait and wedding photographs that reflect your personality and style. My approach is relaxed, and I like to capture people in natural light wherever possible.

I have learnt that the best portraits are taken in the client’s own home, or a scenic outdoor location where you feel comfortable and relaxed, so I work in your home or at an outdoor space special to you.

As I split my time between Hobart and Melbourne, I happily take photography assignments and portrait sessions in both Tasmania and Victoria.

A bit more about me:

Having been obsessed with photography since I was a teenager, I decided to turn my love of photography into a skill by studying Fine Art Photography at the University of Tasmania Centre for the Arts and later at the Melbourne at the Royal Institute of Technology, where I received First Class Honours. I have been exhibiting work since 2004, in several solo and group shows.

A few years ago a dear friend asked me to be her wedding photographer. This was an amazing experience, and led me to start my own commercial photography business.

I work with each client to ensure that photo sessions are relaxed and fun, and result in beautiful photographs that capture something special.
